Annual Community Celebration

Join us for our annual CTC and CCCC Community Celebration on Saturday, May 12th from 11-2 pm! 

Our Community Celebration is our biggest event of the year, including free food, live music and lots of family fun. The event will take place at the conjunction of Fifield Ave and the Gibbs Ave cul-de-sac, where the two streets meet near the Study Center. 

Food:
CTC will provide you with tickets for free meals from the attending food trucks! We have a variety of food trucks scheduled to satisfy all your cravings: Alimama's Sambusa, Tiki Tim's, and Asian Invasion Food Truck. If you wish to eat beyond the amount your allocated tickets provides, you can also purchase food and drink conventionally at the trucks. You will check in at the tent on Fifield Ave and Gibbs Ave to receive the food tickets for your household.

Entertainment:
Live musical performance by Malamanya, a Minneapolis based band playing vintage Afro-Latin music.

Our CTC Bolly Group will perform two of their dance routines for our community to enjoy! It isn’t too late if you wish to join the Bolly group!! No experience necessary—just the ability to attend weekly night practices and the desire to dance and perform with the group. Please email the team captain, Medha, if you are interested.

Games include mini golf, burlap potato sack races, duck pond, dino dig. We also will have a Creation Station for crafting, face painting, an inflatable jumper, and a rock climbing wall for all to enjoy.

And come photo ready, as we will also have a photo booth and a professional photographer on site for the event!

Guests:
You are welcome to bring your friends and family to the celebration. No previous registration necessary. Guests will need to purchase food, but all other activities are free.
