Dandiya Night
Everyone is invited to join us for a night filled with dancing, food and drink, as well a special dance performance at CTC’s Dandiya Night!
CTC's First Dandiya Night!
Join us for Dandiya Night at CTC on Saturday, October 5th from 5-8 pm in the Community Center Upstairs Room!
Dandiya Night is a celebration of dance during Navratri, a Hindu festival to honor the divine feminine that spans nine nights and ten days each year. This year, the celebration comes to CTC with our residents’ initiative and organization!
Everyone (and we mean everyone - all ages, cultures, backgrounds, identities, and community guests and family!) is invited and encouraged to come to our inclusive and respectful event! CTC Dandiya Night will be filled with dancing, food and drink, as well a special dance performance! There will also be a simple dance tutorial for all to learn and participate in the fun.
Dandiya is traditionally an event of fancier attire, so dress your best and whatever you feel most comfortable/represented in – and prepare yourself for the greatest Dandiya Night in the USA!!!
RSVP Please!
Please confirm you + your group's attendance here (not required but helps us know how much food to provide!)
Want to Volunteer?
We need your help to make CTC's first Dandiya Night a success, from simple set-up tasks to overall event planning contributions! Please use the RSVP form above to confirm your attendance as well as to indicate if you wish to assist our residents organizing the event.
