Kids' Community Iftar

Youth aged 10-15 are warmly invited to partake in this special Kids' Iftar event, where delicious food and community bonds await. Please RSVP below and bring a potluck item to share.

This event is organized by a group of CTC residents and non-residents, Turkish American Society of MN (TASMN).

The Turkish American Society of Minnesota (TASMN), in collaboration with CTC, is thrilled to invite kids and teenagers (ages 10-15) to a special Community Iftar Event designed just for them. This gathering aims to foster unity, solidarity, and community spirit among our younger members, providing them with an opportunity to make friends and enjoy the festivities in a safe and welcoming environment.

About the Event

This Kids' Community Iftar Event is a chance for children and teenagers to come together, share a meal, and engage in fun activities. All youth from the CTC and TASMN communities are welcome, regardless of religious background or practice. Parents are kindly requested to drop their kids off at 7:30 pm and pick them up promptly at 8:30 pm.

Potluck-style Dinner

We encourage all attendees to contribute to our potluck-style dinner by bringing a dish, salad, fruit, or non-alcoholic beverage to share with their peers. In the spirit of dietary inclusivity, kindly ensure that all items adhere to halal or vegetarian guidelines, or are prepackaged with Kosher symbols.

Volunteer Opportunity

To ensure the smooth running of the event, we kindly request 5-6 adult volunteers from the CTC Community to assist with food service during both the Community and Kids iftars. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact Serpil Misirli.

RSVP + Attendance:

Due to space limitations, we can only accommodate a maximum of 50 attendees from the CTC community. To secure your spot, please RSVP here now!

To ensure there is enough food for everyone, we kindly request that no adults attend the event other than TASMN and CTC volunteers.

Parents can drop their kids off at the designated time and pick them up at 8:30 pm.
